UIC's 2013 CHEERDANCE COMPETITION

             It was a blast! This year was surely the best ever cheer dance competition I've seen. You wanna know why? It's just because each program was pumped up with fuel and dance to every beat and moved as one. It was something worth remembering, it was a night full of action and excitement. This year's competition just build a higher level of difficulty and excellence for the intramurals to come. 

             I am PROUD and HONORED that the Engineering program won the title. They have been reigning the floor for 15 years.  I LOVE THE UNBEATABLE WOLVES!

These photos were taken two years ago during our “eco-tour”. These photos were particularly taken inside the butterfly sanctuary of Malagos Garden, Davao City. It was truly a great adventure. The place may look like any ordinary garden, but try opening  your heart along with your eyes and you’ll see beauty beneath you’re expectation. 

Dress Makeover

after watching the ONLY season of "Jane by Design" I got so inspired and driven to to what I really love, fashion. So now I saw a sack of clothes to be thrown  or given away in my room. I looked over and took some good pieces that my mom saw any great deals with it. So one of it is this little blue dress of my cousin who is about 20 years old already. Since i am still in the JANE mood so I decided to give the dress a make over and of course it is inspired with how JANE dress up in her series. So i just imagined how it would look like with no sleeves and collar and I imagined something great. I did not have any second thoughts in tearing the dress apart into pieces to do what I want to do. With the aid of my needle, thread and blade I was able to come up with a dress so IN and so ME. My sister saw what I did and so she took pictures of herself wearing it and she loved it. so here's the pic of my lil' sister Mariel wearing THE DRESS. for everybody's information this isn't the first time i had torn something to turn it into a beautiful dress but this is one of my achievements as aspiring and a wanna BE  fashion designer.

PARIS getaway!!!!

                   

You know the feeling of dreaming to be somewhere you have always dreamed and longed for since you were at the age of 4 or 5 and up until now you never got the chance to be there? Well we feel the same. 

I am an 18 year old second year college student taking up Communication-Arts in the University of Immaculate Conception.

During Christmas break I thought of my dream, one of my greatest dreams ever, and that is TO HAVE A PARIS GETAWAY! My dream is not impossible to those who are rich but for me this dream of mine is far away from me, this dream of mine is hard to reach. But, I thought of something brilliant! yes my dream is to go to London or New York to study Fashion Design and that dream of mine is much harder to fulfill than the getaway I am longing for so I thought of WHY NOT SAVE MONEY?  You may think it will take a decade or more before i get to have the money I need for the trip I want to have, but hey, nothing is impossible. Yes, my allowance is not that big but who cares, I can make most out of it. now I have separated the money from my other savings so I wont be able to use it whenever there is a pair of shoes I want to buy or a food that I am craving for. I have set in my mind that I CAN! My PARIS GETAWAY DREAM is not that far no more for I have taken steps closer to it! hoping that you can start making steps closer to your dreams ;) This 2013 we can begin with little things that can turn to something big someday♥
